Business Grants and Financing
This government website lists of your financing options in the form of: grants, loans, wage subsidy, tax credits and more. Click on the links to access different programs you may qualify for as a small business owner. Funding is earmarked for specific use so make sure you fill out all of the criteria that applies to your business.
Loans
In addition to traditional lenders like your banks, there are also a variety of financing options such as: Futurpreneur, Women Enterprise Centre, Vancity.
Futurpreneur- if you are aged 19-39, you may qualify for loans up to $20,000 per business
Women Enterprise Centre- Are you a female entrepreneur and need a loan to start or grow your business? WEC can offer loans up $150,000
Vancity- There are two microfiancing options available for small business :peerloans and microloans. Depending on your industry and how to access the funds, you can qualify for $15000 up to $75000.
Business Development Bank of Canada- If your financing needs exceed the amount provided by the aforementioned organizations, the BDC maybe able to fill that gap.
