Our advisors have decades of experience across multiple industries and are passionate about helping local businesses. They provide one-on-one support to make the exporting journey as smooth as possible.
History of the program
In 2016, studies found that B.C. business owners were unaware of the range of export services available and how to access them. It became clear there was a need for a single streamlined, customizable service to help these businesses grow. Thus, the Export Navigator program was created.
The Export Navigator pilot program originally launched in four communities in October 2016. It then expanded to two new B.C. communities in April 2017. The pilot was highly successful in helping small businesses and entrepreneurs expand their markets. As a result, it transitioned into a fully-funded program in April 2019. Today, Export Navigator serves businesses all throughout the province and continues to be a valuable resource for those considering exporting as a growth strategy.
