From my base on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the syilx / Okanagan people (Kelowna and West Kelowna), I provide specialized consulting services, focusing on supporting Indigenous-owned businesses and entrepreneurs throughout British Columbia, particularly in rural and remote communities, as they scale and navigate international trade and expansion opportunities.
I bring twenty five years of hands-on experience as a serial entrepreneur, award-winning and fractional executive. Having built and scaled one of Canada’s largest animation studios from the ground up right here in Kelowna, brokering partnerships with global giants like Netflix, Amazon Studios, Nickelodeon, and NBC Universal, culminating in an exit in 2022, I first-hand understand the challenges and triumphs of starting, scaling and succession planning, as well as expanding into foreign markets. My journey includes advocating for B.C. regional tax credits that drove job creation, serving in CxO roles across SaaS, Food Innovation, Pharmaceutical Innovation, Defense, and Social Enterprise, and working with First Nations on grant funding advancements for cleantech capital.
Beyond business operations, I have been deeply involved in shaping our regional economic framework through service on the boards of Innovate BC, Accelerate Okanagan, the Canadian Media Producers Association, and the UBCO Regional Leadership Roundtable.
